Pastor Aker's sermon for Sept 9, 2018 is based on the Epistle reading for the week, James 2:1-10, 14-18.

Pastor Janneke's sermon for Labor Day weekend is based on Ecclesiaistes 3:11, "God has made everything beautiful in its time.  Also, He has put eternity into man's heart."

Pastor Janneke's theme is "Christ in our Relationships" based on Ephesians 5:21-6:9. As we fulfill our God-given responsibilites in all of our relationships, we do so out of reverence for Christ. 

Pastor Aker's sermon focuses on the Gospel reading, John 6:51-69, especially Peter's words to Jesus in v. 68: "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life, and we have believed, and hae come to know, that You are the Holy One of God."

Pastor Aker's sermon, "A Meal that Sticks to Your Ribs," is based on both the Old Testament and Gospel readings, 1 Kings 16:1-8 and John 6:35-51.

Pastor Janneke's sermon for the 11th Sunday after Pentecost is based on the Epistle reading, Ephesians 4:1-16.  In contrast to the divisiveness of the world and our sinful nature, this passage focuses our hearts on the unity God's Spirit grants us in Christ.

Pastor Aker's sermon for the 10th Sunday after Pentecost, "Lord of the Flood," is based on the Old Testament and Gospel readings, Genesis 9:8-17 and Mark 6:45-56.
