Pastor Aker's sermon for the 12th Sunday after Pentecost, "Living Sacrifices," is based on a portion of the Epistle reading, Romans 12:1-2.

Pastor Janneke's sermon for the 11th Sunday after Pentecost is based on the Old Testament reading, Isaiah 56:1-8, especially v. 8: "The Lord God, who gathers the outcasts of declares, 'I will gather yet others to him besides those already gathered.'"

On this Sunday, Faith was privileged to recognize and bid farewell to Faith member, Joel Heckmann, as he prepares to begin his ministry as Pastor of Saint John Lutheran Church in Okarche, OK.

Pastor Aker's sermon for the 10th Sunday after Pentecost, "On Water He Walked," is based on the Gospel reading, Matthew 14:22-33.

Pastor Janneke's sermon for the Seventh Sunday after Pentecost, "Meet Your Redeemer," is based on the Old Testament reading, Isaiah 44:6-8. Other passages reference in the sermon include Psalm 103, Psalm 130:7-8, and the Epistle reading (Romans 8:18-27) and Gospel reading (Matthew 12:24-30, 36-43) for this weekend. The recording begins with the sermon hymn, "There Is A Redeemer."

Pastor Aker's sermon for the Sixth Sunday after Pentecost, "Seeds of Truth," is based on the Gospel reading, Jesus' parable of the Sower in Matthew 13:1-9, 18-23.

Pastor Aker's sermon for the Third Sunday after Pentecost, "Truth Bearers," is based on a verse from the Old Testament Reading: "But the LORD is with me as a dread warrior; therefore my persecutors will stumble; they will not overcome me" (Jeremiah 20:11).
